What is Kaal Sarp Dosha?
Kaal Sarp yoga is formed when all seven of the other grahas fall on one side of the Rahu–Ketu axis — that is, enclosed within the half of the chart between the two lunar nodes. If even one graha falls outside that half, the yoga is not formed.

How it is determined
Rahu and Ketu are always exactly opposite, so they divide the zodiac into two halves. The calculator measures each of the other seven grahas' angular distance forward from Rahu; if every one falls within the same 180 degrees, the axis encloses them.
What the result means
The calculator prints each graha's distance from Rahu, so you can see how close the configuration is rather than taking a yes or no. A chart with one graha just outside the axis is not the same as one with three, even though both return the same verdict.
Rahu and Ketu are not bodies — they are the two points where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic. That is worth knowing when reading any claim about their influence.
