Pisces Rashi

Meena dissolves boundaries. A dual water rashi ruled by Guru, it is imaginative, unusually compassionate, and permeable to atmosphere in a way that is both its gift and its exhaustion. Meena — known in English as Pisces — is the sidereal zodiac sign of the Fishes, ruled by Guru (Jupiter). It is a water (jal) rashi of dual (dwisvabhava) quality: in Vedic astrology that pair describes how a sign begins things, holds them, or adapts to them.

In the sidereal zodiac the Sun passes through Meena from roughly 15 March to 13 April. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, where Pisces runs from 19 February – 20 March.
